Multiple acoustic solutions in skyscraper spa

URBAN SPA IN SKYSCRAPER

Right next to Gothenburg’s new landmark – the Karlatornet skyscraper – stands Clarion Hotel Karlatornet, with 300 rooms spread across 15 floors. In addition to accommodations and a restaurant, the hotel also houses Elements Spa, a concept found at several Clarion hotels throughout Sweden. The spa, which is actually located in the skyscraper itself, offers various facial and body treatments, a relaxation pool, as well as an infrared sauna and a steam sauna.

FELTFON DNA & LAMELLOW SPA

Several Gustafs products have been installed in the modern and harmoniously designed spa area. Lamellow Spa panels, featuring Artisan Oak veneer and anthracite-coloured acoustic felt, are mounted in the ceiling above the pool, and Feltfon DNA felt absorbers in the colour Sand has been installed on a number of walls. In addition to serving as decorative elements, they help improve the acoustic environment in the space.

Both Lamellow Spa and our various Feltfon models are designed to withstand demanding environments and various types of wet rooms, making them excellent choices for locations such as spa facilities and swimming pools.
