The Swedish Trade Union Confederation has its seat in a classic building in the Swedish capital, which was acquired by the organisation in 1926. Over the years, the classic building has undergone many renovations. Six years ago, the latest refurbishment began, with a focus on lighting, heating and ventilation – but also a complete renovation of the plenary hall, which is located in the basement.
For the now state-of-the-art plenary hall, Gustafs has manufactured the wall claddings that surrounds the audience with an adapted acoustic experience. Gustafs slatted wood panels in ash surround the hall with associated moldings. In addition, we have manufactured demountable grilles that hide the newly installed ventilation.
