Feltfon ceiling slats make a difference – both visually and acoustically

ACOUSTIC IMPROVEMENT

Eldabutiken (loosely translated: The Fireplace Store) is Sweden’s largest chain of specialist retailers for fireplace heating, with around 50 stores located throughout the country. They sell and install all types of stoves and fireplaces, for both indoor and outdoor use.

In their store in Borlänge, Feltfon Linear Rib has been installed in the ceiling of the store’s largest room, which houses the entrance, reception desk, and fireplace displays. The felt absorbers cover the entire ceiling, giving the space an aesthetic upgrade. But they not only conceal the overhead ventilation ducts; above all, they contribute to a better sound level in the store – something that can often be a problem in high-traffic retail environments.

DETAILS

All slats are in the colour Wet Sand and measure 133 (width) x 130 (depth) mm.
