Feltfon© Acoustic Baffles enables the incorporation of large design elements in significant dimensions, maintaining a lightweight and cost-effective solution. The utilization of absorbent felt material and the presence of a hollow core in Feltfon© Baffles contribute to excellent sound absorption. The Capax Quick-Up installation system is available for walls and ceilings, perfect for use in public spaces like schools, offices, shops, and malls. Approved for use in wet rooms. The installation system grips multiple baffle widths and is fully demountable. Create a unique appearance by varying and combining different widths, depths, felt colours, or the width of the spacings. Of course, Feltfon© Baffles are fire-safe – in the Gustafs way, without the need for impregnations. Made from a minimum of 50% post-consumer recycled content. The Feltfon acoustic ceiling baffles help reduce sound waves and sound-proofing the room.

Sound Baffles are acoustic panels that are suspended vertically from the ceiling or, if you like, installed on the wall.
Acoustic Baffles can be very effective, reducing sound waves, in open-plan spaces such as offices, schools, and entrances, where they can help prevent propagation of sound over longer distances. In addition, their sound-absorbing properties can help to reduce reverberation and overall sound levels, creating a more comfortable environment.

Acoustic baffle beams helps reduce sound in large spaces with high ceilings. Ceiling Baffles provide a larger absorptive surface area, is very easy to install, and is available in many depths and dimensions. In many public spaces it is common to encounter a ceiling made of steel decking or concrete – materials that are highly reflective and don’t absorb sound well. As sound travels towards the ceilings, it will encounter these highly reflective surfaces which only absorb a very small amount of sound energy. The sound wave will continue travelling within the room. Acoustic ceiling baffles are particularly effective for sound proofing a room as they can absorb both the direct sound from a sound source, and the reflections from ceilings and higher sections of the walls.

Contains minimum 50% recycled PET bottles and is approved by all international standards regarding indoor climate emissions. Thickness 9,0 mm.

Wooden in-fill strips for Feltfon Linear

Combine the wool look of Feltfon© with beautiful wooden in-fill strips. Available in the following dimensions (depth x width x length): 13 x 23 x 2400, 13 x 54 x 2400 and 13 x 85 x 2400 mm. The wooden in-fill strip leaves 10 mm of visible rib depth in combination with a 40 mm deep Feltfon© rib, 30 mm visible depth in combination with a 60 mm deep rib, etc. Choose from our palette of veneers.

Varying types of covers and windowsills are needed in almost any interior fitting project. Gustafs will perfectly match the correct specifications and needs for your project, as well as the surface and finish.

Plinths

Installation

Feltfon Baffles, Feltfon Linear, Feltfon Vector and Feltfon Blox are all installed with the same Capax system which makes it easy to mix different models and create unique designs. The Capax Quick-Up installation system is available for both walls and ceilings and guarantees reliability and a perfect visual result.

Due to the U-shape of the installation profile BASE WF, it can hold two baffle ends in-line and act as a length connector for seamless joints.

Easy to install

Capax is our unique aluminum profile installation system that delivers a concealed, reliable, quick, and cost-saving installation. The Quick-Up system is user-friendly and available for walls and ceilings. No tools are needed to assemble the interlocking components. Both the wall and ceiling systems are demountable, ideal when access to the ancillary systems is required.
