A new Ronald McDonald House has been built at Odense University Hospital (OUH) in Denmark. The house serves as temporary accommodation for families with children receiving treatment at the hospital for serious illnesses, and can host up to twelve families at a time.
The facility allows families to stay together in a safe and supportive environment, offering private rooms equipped with a bathroom and a private terrace. In addition, there is a shared kitchen as well as various facilities and activities designed for both children and adults.
Gustafs and JJI has contributed nano-perforated ceiling panels in oak veneer to the project.
