Fire retardancy and acoustic performance in focus

ICONIC PREMISES

In time for the hectic summer ballet season and White Nights festival The New Mariinsky Theatre will open in the end of May to long expectant St. Petersburg audiences. Under great time press Gustafs have supplied and developed wall and ceiling paneling to this world famous classic ballet theatre. The new theatre, while docked by a glassed bridge to the classic Mariinsky theatre offers both audiences and performers top class modern facilities well beyond those capable of the old theatre.

FOCUS ON FIRE AND QUALITY

Fire retardancy, acoustic performance and not lease workmanship were just a few of the demands architect s from Canada and Russia expected from the supplier of the panels material to the theater. All in all some 12, 000 m2 of Gustafs Acoustic Panels were produced and installed in this latest addition to St. Petersburg´s cultural jewelry. Although unique in every aspect this project nonetheless was yet another confirmation that Gustafs products attract and fulfill the demands of international building project where quality and stringent technical specifications are decisive.
