Legia Warsaw is Poland’s most successful football club in history, founded in 1916. Since 1930, they have played their home games at the Polish Army Stadium. The stadium has been upgraded several times since then, not least after World War II when it suffered extensive damage.
The biggest reconstruction took place between 2008 and 2011, when among other things all the stands were demolished and new, modern ones were built, with a capacity of 31,000 spectators.
The stadium in its current form is referred to as the ‘Nowy Stadion (New Stadium)’ and contains press boxes, office space, a gym, a sports bar and a club museum.
In the conference rooms in the media centre of the stadium, approx. 1000 sqm of Gustafs panels has been installed. All of them PG8 acoustic panels with rotary-cut birch veneer.
