Gustafs / Clarion Hotel Björvika

A modern hotel interior

DYED BIRCH VENEER

Clarion Hotel Björvika is the latest addition to Oslo’s range of hotels, opened in July 2019. Gustafs have been involved in, and contributed to, the beautiful interior and atmosphere by the production and installation of our wooden panels and timber panels, mounted in the public spaces in the hotel.

All wall panels and timber wall panels from Gustafs have been produced in the same dark tabu veneer. The tabu veneer is a dyed birch veneer which reproduces a plane and homogeneous hue and also highlights the wooden structure in the veneer in a beautiful way. The same veneer is also used at At Six in Stockholm in combination with our Nano perforation panel.

AN ARTISTIC EXPRESSION

Björvika is a fast-growing district in Oslo. Clarion Björvika is placed in a strategic place with Oslo opera house and the new Munch museum, planned for opening in 2022, as neighbors. For this reason the main theme for Clarion Björvika is pretty obvious – an art hotel filled with energy and experiences. The production and installation of our products is a cooperation with Gustafs’ Danish partner In-Sign AS.
