Rising 60 metres, the Tip of Nordø stands as one of Copenhagen’s defining landmarks – a contemporary beacon of striking scale at the entrance to the harbour.
On the first of the building’s fourteen floors, which is open to the public, Gustafs & JJI has installed acoustic slats for the canteen and office spaces. Here, Gustafs Linear Rib-S in two varying dimensions are combined to form a decorative acoustic wall. The interplay between the oak veneer and the grey acoustic felt introduces a sense of tactility and warmth, softening the interior otherwise defined by concrete and glass.
