Underpinned by our Scandinavian design heritage, we bring you regular stories about architecture and interiors, exploring natural materials, acoustics, and the creation of safe and harmonious environments.
We are back to business as usual after participating in the Stockholm Furniture Fair the first week of February. At the fair, we showcased many of our products with a focus on the Feltfon range, and the response from the visitors was undoubtedly positive!
Many curious visitors from all over the world found their way to our stand during the week, which was characterized by four high, triangular walls in the corners, with each side of the walls displaying a unique Feltfon design.
In the center was a table with samples and installation modules under a custom-made lampshade, which was also made of our acoustic felt material Acoustex. A natural centerpiece where many interesting discussions emerged.
To highlight the durability of the Acoustex material, we also chose to lay the floor of the stand in the material, with a playful pattern that illustrated the unlimited design possibilities. All in all, the felt absorbers made our stand become a calm and quiet oasis in the otherwise tangible noise of the fair. A perfect way to showcase the features and benefits of our products!
Two of our designs that attracted a lot of attention were the centrally placed Blox and Baffles. Two designs that stood out both because they ran from wall to ceiling and because they also featured our new, fully integrated F-Line LED lighting.
The benefits of Feltfon are many. As mentioned, it offers A class acoustics and a wide variety of design options. Hey, you can even make your own design!
In addition, all Feltfon models are quick and easy to install, most of them with our installation system Capax, and holds an excellent fire classification of B-s1,d0 (meaning little or no contribution to fire) – making it well suited for public spaces.
Finally, the sustainability attributes are in place as well. The Acoustex felt is made of more than 50% post-consumer recycled PET, and is 100% recyclable. And due to it’s clever construction it can be delivered flat pack, offering cost- and space-efficient shipping.
So, are you looking for an aesthetic and acoustic overhaul of your facilities? Look no further!
We held a competition during the fair, where you could vote for your favourite wall and have the chance to have it installed after the fair. We are compiling the results now and will announce a winner soon. Something we’ve already noted and think is very fun is that all the different walls received votes.
Many thanks to the organizers and especially to all the friendly visitors, both new and old acquaintances. Hope to see you again next year!
