Acoustic Solutions at University Campus

A MODERN CAMPUS

The new Campus building at Mälardalen University in Eskilstuna brings together all students and staff under one roof. The new building consists of a house body which is divided into three different parts that offer large open spaces for meetings and collaborations.

The large open spaces place high demands on the acoustics of the premises. We at Gustafs were given the task of manufacturing and installing acoustic solutions in the form of wall claddings in various designs around the state-of-the-art university.

A MIX OF ACOUSTIC PANELS

In the most central part of the school there is a large atrium that links the different buildings. Here we have installed our solid wood modules in solid oak over several floors. In addition to the wood modules, we have also manufactured and installed our acoustic panel, Gustafs Nano in three different designs.

Along the stairs that connect to the large atrium, our Nano panel in ash veneer has been installed. In addition to the wood veneered panel, we have manufactured an acoustic panel with laminate surface that has been installed in two different colors.

In the spring of 2020, all teaching has been moved into the new premises.
