Uppsala University was founded in 15th century and is the oldest university in the Nordic region. In this historical context, a new modern building has recently opened. Segerstedthuset is a modern workplace for 600 university employees, which had previously been spread over nine different buildings at the campus. The design creates new opportunities for integration between employees, students and visitors.
The public university atrium is the heart of Segerstedthuset and it’s cladded with 1100m² grooved acoustic panels with Gustafs RP8 stripe perforation with a white painted surface.
