Modern office building in Oslo

URBAN QUARTER

This new, modern office building is located as central as can be in Oslo, with the National Theatre, the Royal Castle and the main street, Karl Johan, just a short walk away. The 10-storey building, with its distinctive rounded corners, is one of several new developments in the Tullin Quarter, a flourishing neighborhood which was named “Urban Life Project of the Year” at the OMA Awards 2022. Going through the building’s large portals and winding passages, you reach “The Backyard”, a cozy area with cafés, restaurants and shops, which was previously closed to the public.

RIBS & PANELS

During the planning of the project, emphasis was placed on architectural design, environment and flexibility. The building meets the requirements for BREEAM Excellent and has energy class A.

The open office spaces are designed with a technical grid and interior design solutions that offers great flexibility. Throughout the offices, 4 000 sqm of Gustafs plain panels and ribs in oak veneer cover the walls, in a rounded design that recalls the building’s exterior.
