The City Hall in Stockholm is a century old building and is the seat of Stockholm District Court. The interiors are reminiscent of the Vasa regency era with their simple plastered walls and arches decorated with wall paintings. Each corridor has a symmetrically placed court room. The court room interiors give a ceremonious impression with high wooden panels and cassette ceiling.
For 2.5 years, Gustafs was commissioned to revive the various historic, but also modern, premises belonging to Stockholm City Hall. It was a varied job with different types of environments for which products had to be manufactured, delivered and installed.
