The new City Hall building in Täby, Sweden, is a modern meeting and workspace for the citizens and for the workers in the city hall. The central part of the building consists of an atrium which rises several floors in the building, connecting office spaces and meeting rooms together.
Buildings with an atrium design also requires high demands in the workspace acoustics to maintain a good working environment. As sound absorbers in the city hall, Gustafs Acoustic Panels was chosen for wall and ceiling claddings. Our standard acoustic perforation PD8 in birch veneer are cladding vast areas of the interior. The PD8 perforation achieves absorption class B, which is extremely high for wooden acoustic panels.
In the council room our acoustic panels have been decorated with our Gustafs print solution, showing two birches rises along the panels. The reception desk in the entrance is also a job made by us, which consists of wooden panels and panels painted in solid color.
