Linear Module-FS installation – ceiling | a demountable linear panel ceiling.

The ceiling installation for Linear Module-FS is user-friendly and flexible. Every second row of panels is suspended from the ceiling, the remaining rows are placed in between, using a male/female coupling. The rows with a male coupling are fully demountable.

Step by step ceiling installation of a 1200×600 mm Module-FS

STEP 1

1. Suspend ceiling hangers or anchor points from the ceiling.

STEP 2

2. Plan the positioning of the hangers according to the dimensions A, B and C.

STEP 3

3. 4 suspension points per Modules with a length up to 1800 mm. Longer Modules require 6 or more suspension points.

STEP 4 & 5

4. Modules with a female coupling are suspended, using M6 loop screws. When insulation is required – place on the backside of the Modules before suspension.

5. Level the height utilizing the M6 loop screws.

STEP 6

6. Place and lock the Modules with a male coupling in between the suspended rows.

STEP 7

7. If supplied with an acoustic felt, carefully adjust in the overlapping sections.

STEP 8

8. In-line, there will a 5 mm open joint between the ribs.

9. Add insulation to the back of the panels if required.

Wood

Wood is a natural product and tree is unique. Colour, pattern and structural differences are considered as normal and a part of the décor. Wood changes over time when exposed to UV-light.

Conditions for Storage, Installation and Use

Only for indoor use and not in wet rooms. Storage, Installation and Use at 18-50 C° and 25-60% air humidity. The humidity in the under laying construc-tion (concrete) should not be higher than 15%. Gustafs solutions are sensitive to humidity and water, therefore they should always be stored dry and in-door.

Storage & Transportation

– Do not transport unsecured panels.
– Do not stack pallets.
– Keep the packaging closed during storage.
– Lift panels flat, vertically and one at the time.
– Avoid exposure to strong and direct sunlight.

Cleaning

Cleanings is done by dry mop or vacuum. Use synthetic cleaning fluid without ammonia for greasy stains, fruit, wine and coffee.

Our UV coated surfaces are approved for hospital cleaning products containing up to 70% alcohol.

On building site

– Avoid exposure to strong and direct sunlight.
– Do not expose visible surfaces to sharp objects during installation.
– Do not slide products on each other. Lean panels against a wall for short term storage.

– Protect both non-installed and installed panels and ribs from impact coming from ladders, trolleys, furniture installation, etc, including all other workers and their tools.
