EXCLUSIVE PLANKS FOR WALLS

Gustafs Plank provides a traditional design to make beautiful walls. Installed with the Gustafs Capax installation parts, it is a system – reliable, labour saving and guaranteeing a perfect end-result. Although a standard system you can still many features. You can vary the veneer, add colours using a pigmentation, work with varying plank widths between 100 and 200 mm, or use open, closed and coloured spacings. Gustafs Plank can be use on curved walls.

Material

Made with a fire resistant fibre gypsum high density, 1200 kg/m³ core and a natural wooden veneer. An all-natural product.

Installation

Capax is our unique installation system using aluminium profiles. It’s concealed, reliable, quick-up, user friendly and cost saving. No tools are needed to assemble the interlocking components.

Fire Reaction

The high density nonflammable core and the surface veneer’s strongly bound adhesion to the fiber gypsum plank give our planks a classification up to”Reaction to fire B-s1,d0.”

Using full length Capax profiles or Capax clips, the Planks can be installed vertically, horizontally or diagonal and with closed or more eye catching coloured spacings between the Planks. The Linear Plank system is perfect to create curved walls.

Many design parameters can be adjusted individually. The veneer, the veneer finish regarding gloss or pigmentation or why not work with painted or HPL surfaces.

Gustafs Plank wall is available in widths between 100 and 200 mm, but our standards are 100 mm, 150 mm and 200 mm.

Our designs and surfaces are constantly evolving. Choose from a wide range of veneers, laminates, or painted solid colours to achieve a unique design.

Veneer finish treatments

Our veneer lacquer is a durable 3-layer UV-cured process, available in different gloss levels and pigmentations.

Dimensions

You can freely combine different Plank Ceiling dimentions. Gustafs Linear Plankcan also be customized, pre-fabricated according to your drawings. Contact us for more information.

Acoustic felt

The acoustic felt is available in black, white, or grey.

Spacings & Infill Strips

Install with closed or opened spacings 0, 5, 10 or 13mm. Together with the 13 mm spacing you can use coloured or illuminated infill-strips in your wall installation.

We have three standard measurements on our Linear Planks, but we do not want to restrict you. Gustafs Linear Plank can be customized, pre-fabricated according to your drawings.

02. Spacing

The standard spacings are 0, 5, 10 or 13 mm. You can use open and closed spacings in the same installation. Use coloured or even illuminated infill-strips in your wall installation.

The Capax 3206 joint profile makes it possible to get coloured open joints. Infill strips can be made of all types of laminates, real wood or metal.

Gustafs Prints give you a truly freedom in design, with the option to spread your graphics over many planks and by that over extremely large wall or ceiling areas.

Safety in our core

 

By covering a non-combustible fibre gypsum core with a thin layer of wood, we have created a natural and impregnation-free composition that does not noticeable contribute to fire. Thanks to this, our total Linear Plank System is 100 percent fire-rated, not just parts of the product, and will meet all countries’ fire safety requirements.

The fibre gypsum core of Gustafs planks is regarded an inherently none-emitting source of VOCs, just like stone, ceramic, metals, glass and concrete. The planks are also completely impregnation-free and that is why our panels are naturally very low emitting, guaranteeing a healthy room air quality.

We have come a long way and we are proud that our production is certified using 100% renewable energy, that our products are made from 98 percent natural materials and 94 percent recycled materials, and that all Linear Planks are free from retardants, added formaldehyde or isocyanate binders.

The 5 natural benefits of our fibre gypsum core

Gustafs Plank is produced with a high-density, reinforced fibre gypsum core having inherent properties regarding dimension stability, emissions, sustainability, fire safety and acoustics. These 5 fundamental demands in today’s modern building industry effectively eliminate most traditional wood-based alternatives.

Stability

Unaffected by indoor climate changes, fibre gypsum doesn’t bulge, warp or swell. The zero spacing in-line joints between the planks will remain zero over their full lifetime.

Fire Safety

Non-combustible and homogeneous by nature, fibre gypsum doesn’t need chemicals to achieve its fire rating. The Plank, with wrapped wood veneer is 97% fibre gypsum, with a fire classification up to B-s1,d0.

Acoustics

Acoustically, the use of wall cladding with a higher density is usually favourable compared to lighter materials. Fibre gypsum-based ribs is heavier than wood-based wall cladding materials and sound waves will not make them vibrate or resonate.

Sustainability

Thanks to the cores high density and low thermal conductivity, the ribs help to maintain room temperature, reducing the need for cooling or heating. Fibre gypsum contains of 94% recycled material. Even better is the fact that 17% of the total content comes from post-consumer recycled material, very important for the certification of buildings.

Emissions

Fibre Gypsum cores are extremely low emitting. One of the reasons is that they are produced without wood binders and automatically without added urea-formaldehyde or isocyanates. Interior Panels and Linears, containing 97% Fibre Gypsum, will per definition have very low TVOC and formaldehyde emissions.

Capax is our unique aluminum profile installation system that provides you a concealed, reliable, quick and cost saving installation. The Quick-Up assembly system is a user friendly aluminum grid offering installation reliability and a perfect visual result. No tools are needed to assemble the interlocking components. A demountable version is available, ideal when access to the ancillary systems is required.
