This is renovated, modern sport facility for 33 300 spectators capacity. The stadium fulfils the highest requirements imposed by UEFA. The facility has also modern multimedia centre, where 600 sqm of wooden panels were delivered. The building of the media pavillion started in September 2007 and was completed i January 2009.
The contractor for the project was Budimex Dromex and the building is 16 meters tall and 22 meters long. On the ground floor there is a mixed zone for players interviews, kitchen with buffet, toiletts and technical rooms. On the first floor you find a conference room for 200 people. The media pavillion is extendend into the stadium where television are located during the games.
Stadium Miejski was a back-up arena during the Euro 2012 held in Poland and Ukraine.
